he can be forgiven…a lot of politicians would do that when the post of VP of the United States of America is on the line. and what moral obligation prevents a politician from changing his views? We, the people are guilty of changing our thoughts and views more regularly.If change is for good, why not?

Hmmm. I suppose it’s a politician thing to do. I think if there weren’t any political motivation behind it, I’d support it (good or bad). Just so long as it’s genuine.

I’d be more impressed with this if I thought for a minute most of the people supporting the GOP with their votes knew who Ayn Rand was or had the reading capacity to read her work.
