    Oh, the irrelevant irrelevancy!

    That comment doesn’t belong in this topic. It belongs in the conversation about Jan Brewer pointing fingers. Even so, you’ve still missed the mark.

    The photo of Obama finger pointing at Canadian PM Harper is par for the course. Despite being peers who are equal on paper, American leaders routinely talk down to Canadian leaders. In fact, shortly after giving an anti-Vietnam War speech to the UN, Lyndon Johnson grabbed Canadian PM Lester Pearson by the lapels, shook the much smaller man and -spittle flying- shouted profanities into his face and said “Don’t you dare come into my living room and piss on my rug!”

    One can argue that it’s the natural pecking order of the Canadian-American relationship. However, what Brewer did was completely contrary to the natural pecking order in America. The President is the “top dog” and governors like Jan Brewer are just little “bitches”. Even governors of major states can be little more than nobodies. Just ask Rick Perry what an easy route he had going from Texas Governor to President.

    Brewer’s finger pointing steps outside established protocol and, intentional or not, qualifies as disrespect.
