Since Osama Bin Laden’s death, we’ve had to deal with the Proofers who apparently need to take pictures with the body to believe he’s dead. And of course, the “waterboarding works” crowd who, even after it was proven that the information was not obtained by torture, still think it’s an effective tactic. Then, the tug-of-war between who gets credit, Bush or Obama. All that is kinda expected, or at least not surprising.
Now this crap below (TV news coverage and article)?? I didn’t expect it. Especially not from an “educator.” Just watch.

TX Teacher Suspended after Telling Muslim Student ‘I Bet You’re Grieving’

Two things:
1. Here’s one teacher that should feel the effects of state budget cuts here and
2. Did ABC13 really assure the mother they were concealing her identity by focusing in on her tats and that red hair?

That is exactly what I thought! Parents can ask the kid, “Whose mom has all the tats and red hair?” Bingo. Not so concealed.

Why does it seem to be that TX has most of these people? Now we see why we are 25th in the world in math!

Unfortunately, people like this are everywhere. This is not about being PC or even sensitive, it’s definitely about stupidity.

Stupidity. He wasn’t sorry, but I’ll bet he’s sorry now.

It seems the school districts have figured out its much easier to release a statement about “how they value diversity” after the fact, than actually create an atmosphere that values diversity before this crap happens.

Good point. What I did like was that her classmates stood up for her. A case of the students getting it, but not the teacher. You would think it would be the other way around.

GOD! This pisses me off.

Absolutely. The fact that a “teacher” did it is even more maddening.
